

Green Budget Germany has been creating and developing concepts in green industrial policy since 1994. Initially focused on green taxation, our expertise now extends to almost all instruments of market-based environmental policy. Market-based strategies allow climate goals to be achieved at a low cost, whilst also strengthening the economy.
We therefore advocate continuing financial reform, in order to sustain both our economy and our environment well into the future.

Green Budget Germany brings together experts in economics, politics and science, who contribute to both public and professional discussions, at national and international conferences. In order to enlarge our global network, in 2008 we founded Green Budget Europe: a pan-European platform that will develop and disseminate concepts in market-based environmental policy.
