DATA

Law firm Höchstetter and Colleagues, located at Bavariaring 38 in Munich, was founded in 1993 by lawyer Dr. Klaus Höchstetter, today the company’s senior partner and managing director. At present, the rapidly expanding law firm employs a staff of 10 to 14 people, including four lawyers, who practice in a wide variety of legal areas, as well as several paralegals and freelancers. Over the course of the years, the law firm has established a network of cooperation partners all across Europe. This guarantees that transnational legal problems can be refered to highly qualified lawyers abroad if required.

 

Dr. Klaus Höchstetter, born in 1964, holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Munich as well as a master’s degree in political science and international relationships from the University of Political Sciences, also located in Munich. He passed the required final examinations in 1990 and 1993 respectively. Since 2000, Dr. Höchstetter gained various additional qualifications, including the certifications as a tax lawyer (2001FAStR), as a cmmercial lawyer, as a criminal lawyer (FAStrR) and an Executive Master of international and european business Law (MBL-HSG). He earned magna cum laude a doctorate for his thesis on “Open coordination of the European Union”. Dr. Höchstetter received admission to the bar in 1993. He is the author of several articles on various legal questions. Thanks to his professional experience with consulting firm Roland Berger and Hewlett Packard, Dr. Höchstetter is thoroughly familiar with the business world. He is also working as a lecturer and has appeared on TV as a legal consultant. Dr. Höchstetter is fluent in German, English, French and Spanish. He namely is a member of the German-Atlantic Society, the German Overseas Society, several legal associations as well as the fiscal law and criminal law committees of the German Association of Lawyers (DAV).
