Dr. Wolfgang Sturz

Dr. Sturz has a passion for knowledge management. After completing his doctoral degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in automation, and working as a plant engineer for the Alcoa in South America, Dr. Sturz held an executive position with the Fraunhofer society. In 1986 he founded his first company offering services in the field of multilingual technical communication.

Today, Dr. Sturz runs the Sturz Group, which grew out of his earlier firm, and which includes companies based both in Germany and abroad. The Institute for Management and Communication within the Sturz Group came into being as a result of the company’s accumulated experience in the field of knowledge management. The Institute offers a portfolio of services, including consultation and trainings in conjunction with assistance to organizations that are launching new knowledge management systems.

Dr. Sturz has authored and published several books and numerous articles and is a guest lecturer at the University of Ulm, the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design, and the Steinbeis University Berlin. He serves as an advisor on the implementation of knowledge management structures and has been a speaker at numerous professional conferences and conventions.
