Since 1994 Green Budget Germany creates and evolves concepts for the further development of the ecological industrial policy. In the beginning it was meant preferential for the ecological tax reform, meanwhile Green Budget Germany supports almost all instruments for the market based environmental policy.
This policy achieves climate goals with low economic costs and supports the nation’s economic competitiveness.

Therefore, we stand up for a continuing ecological and financial reform, which improves our ecological sustainability as much as our economic power.

In order to achieve our aims well, we call for:

• the reduction of fossil fuel and resource use by ecological and economical efficient and sustainable usage
• the reduction of ecological counterproductive subvention, as e.g. for diesel and kerosene
• developing and improving the emission trading inclusively the total auction of the allowances

Green Budget Europe connects experts from the economy, politics and sciences, who contribute on national and international conferences to public and expert’s discussions.
