we.CONECT is bringing together an international audience of energy managers, technical engineers and plant managers from energy intensive industries to Berlin, to network, share knowledge and be made aware of the key developments within the industry.
With a strong focus on the demand side of asset intensive industries, a technical program and examples for energy savings in plants and factories, the Ener.CON 2012 is the definitive event for the industry.

  • Michele Mazza, Global Energy Leader - Building Materials Group, Owens Corning / USA will present first-hand experience associated with the implementation and certification of the Management System for Energy (MSE 2000:2008), precursor to ISO 50001, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s sponsored Superior Energy Performance program by the Owens Corning Waxahachie, Texas plant. 
 
 
  • Dr. Klaus Harste, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Saarstahl AG, Germany will discuss at a panel the Energy Efficiency & Energy Management in Asset Intensive Industries with following key challenges: Where we stand? What is technically and politically more useful? And what are the limits?
 
 
  • Lawrence Evans, General Manager Diagnostic and Performance Department, CTG, Italcementi Group / Italy will give a short introduction in energy audits, energy measurements and management of peak & low demands and will explain the automation structure of Italcementi .
