Dr. Michael Ivens is practizing since 1984 in Hamburg as a lawyer specializing inter alia in tax law. He received his Ph.D. in the Faculty of Law at the University of Hamburg and earned a Master of Laws at the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London.

Based on a profound knowledge of the legal system, a business training program for sworn auditors and a nearly 25-year professional experience Dr. Michael Ivens covers the following areas of activity:

• Contract law nationally and internationally,
• Real estate and corporate law,
• Inheritance and gift law,
• Association law and trust law,
• Corporate finance, insolvency and reorganization law,
• Business and Commercial law.

In addition, Dr. Michael Ivens acquired a special expertise in the field of Renewable Energy law, Automobile dealer law, Film and television rights law, Art law, law relating to economic and fiscal offences and Hospital law.

Where according to the circumstances tax questions or questions of international law arise, Dr. Ivens will advise so far. In the field of criminal defense, Dr. Ivens limits himself to the rep-resentation in tax fraud and white-collar crime cases.
